Bolinao
We took another beach trip in early May, this time to Bolinao for just a couple of days.
For this trip we took a bus from Manila, which was a new experience for us. At six hours each way, the travel to and from was a bit long.
Once in Bolinao, we stayed a bit outside of town at a small beachside bed and breakfast.

In the mornings we had breakfast outside, enjoying the beach views, and swam in the ocean afterwards.

A highlight of the visit was the Enchanted Cave — a nearby tourist attraction.
The park is filled with fossilized coral, which means the area was submerged millions of years ago.

The big draw is the cave itself, which is a cavern filled with crystal-clear freshwater. We swam around in the cave and floated on our backs admiring the sparkling mineral deposits. Apparently it goes very deep and there are some tunnels you aren't allowed to enter for safety.
I didn't get any pictures of the cave itself, but you can see some photos on their Facebook page.
Back at the resort in the evening we got some great views of the sunset over the water.

Overall we enjoyed the beach, and especially the Enchanted Cave. Next time we would opt to rent a car for a more comfortable journey.
